attic/upper floor of a 1949 brick house and replaced it
with a master suite plus 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. Project involved removing an entire
level, sistering floor joists, and rebuilding (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.) from the
floor up, plus custom carpentry details. Also involved working through a strenuous
historicdistrict approval process.

the horror stories of renovating older homes, and we're thrilled that we don't have any to
tell. As a designbuild firm, Harvey and the guys took the project from start to finish,
designing and then building their plans. They cleaned up EVERY day; they came in
UNDER BUDGET on time and money; they were professional and courteous in every
way. Harvey even took our calls way after work hours and on weekends! If he was out
of town, he made sure to tell us how to contact his partner(s). We're planning "phase
two" of our renovation in the next couple of years, and won't think of calling anyone but
Ward Construction.
